Photoshop Generator with Reflow

The newly released Photoshop Generator feature works awesome with Adobe Edge Reflow.  I used it to redesign my site. I was very happy and very productive.  However when I first launched this, I ran into an issue where it didn’t work the way I thought it was.  Basically I thought that the magic was miraculous instead of just incredibly cool.  When you first convert a PSD to Reflow you have to take a moment and organize the Reflow project before you start designing a set of responsive layouts. Once you get how Photoshop exports, it makes sense. But at first you have to do some work for yourself. I have a video showing how to do this.

The video will also take you through adding Typekit support to a generated Reflow project.

Hope this helps!

  1. Thanks for this quick video — it answered the question I ran into last night when I started experiment. I’ve been interested in Reflow since it first showed up last year. I have what I’m sure must be a ridiculous question but can find no direct answer. Perhaps you can help me 🙂

What is the exact (if there is one) process one employs once all the work has been completed in Reflow? I understand that it doesn’t then generate html, etc., but what do you do with the code it DOES generate? Is it a matter of copying and pasting in Dreamweaver? How do YOU do it??
